Welcome to Carlouel Yacht Club Carlouel Yacht Club, an exclusive private club located on Clearwater Beach Florida, was founded in 1934 by T.R. Palmer, G.A. Hobart and Paul Randolph. Located both on deep water bay and white sandy beach, Carlouel is known for fine dining and entertainment for family and friends with a strong heritage lasting many decades. A member of the Florida Council of Yacht Clubs, Carlouel welcomes it's members to visit. Please check the appropriate links for general information and waypoint information if visiting by boat. Clearwater Beach is located at the west end of Highway 60 out of Tampa Bay on the West Coast of Florida. Clearwater Beach is actually an island measuring several miles long but only four city blocks wide. Everywhere on the island is near the beach. Clearwater Beach is pretty close to paradise. It has miles and miles of white sand beaches, great restaurants, and plenty of shopping and night life. Carlouel is located on the extreme north end of the Island. From highway 60 head north to the end of Mandalay Ave.
